Seven East Bay communities and municipal utility to upgrade sewer system in US

The East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) and seven East Bay communities have reached an agreement with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to assess and upgrade their 1,500 mile-long sewer system infrastructure over a 21-year period.
